How to write effective questions

When writing a question, it is best to:

  • Be as specific possible when describing how you want the question answered.
  • When possible, indicate where Birdie should look for the information you are seeking. Birdie can search through a variety of data sources — You can instruct Birdie to refer to these sources to get the most relevant answers.

The best questions are essentially step-by-step instructions that are clear enough for Birdie to follow.

For example, instead of asking Is this company expanding? , you can ask Search the news for articles mentioning this company's expansion plans. Summarize the search results and share the links.
