Defining your Ideal Customer Profile
First-time ICP detection
Birdie will automatically determine what your ideal customer profile is the very first time you open LinkedIn with Birdie installed. You will see an indicator at the top right of the browser window while this is happening.

Birdie will look at your LinkedIn profile, your current employer's LinkedIn profile, and your current employer's homepage to determine who your ICP is. When your ICP has been defined, Birdie will show you a pop up. Click View your ICP to view and edit your ICP definition.
Viewing and editing your ICP
You can view and edit your ICP in Birdie's options under Optional Settings and Ideal Customer Profile .

Your ICP definition is essentially a set of instructions you give to ChatGPT to teach what to look for when determining whether or not someone fits your ICP. In addition to telling ChatGPT what to look for, you can also tell it what not to look for (e.g. "exclude people who work in healthcare" or "only include people who are VP level or above in their seniority").
Once you've finished editing your ICP, don't forget to click Save .
Auto detecting your ICP if you have multiple current employers
If you have multiple current employers on LinkedIn, and Birdie chose the wrong employer to define your ICP, you can click on Detect from my LinkedIn profile to have Birdie choose the right employer.

Birdie will open LinkedIn in a new browser tab and ask you which employer to use.

After determining the ICP of the correct employer, Birdie will redirect you back to Birdie's options so that you can view and edit your ICP definition.
