Using Templates

You can use templates to send 1-on-1 messages, or to send messages in bulk.

Prerequisites

You will need some templates ready to go.

Using templates in a 1-on-1 message

When sending an individual connection request, message, or InMail, you can access your templates by clicking on Birdie's messaging icon.

Note: To access the Birdie icon when sending a connection request in LinkedIn, you will need to click on Add a note and then click on the text box.

The templates that are shown will be specific to the type of message you are sending. For example, if you are sending a connection request, you will only see templates for connection requests.

After you've selected the template you want to use, type cmd + v on macOS or ctrl + v on Windows to paste the generated message into the text box. You can edit the message before sending.

Choose a template

The Birdie Task Runner will show up on the right hand side. Choose the template you want to use. Note that the templates that are shown will be specific to the type of message you are sending. Click the next button at the bottom. When the profiles are done loading, you can first optionally edit the messages to be sent (1). When everything is ready, click Send All (2) at the bottom.

Do not close the browser tab that is sending the connection requests or messages. You can switch to another tab to do something else and come back when everything is finished.
