Scheduling Messages and InMails for Later

Birdie can schedule LinkedIn messages and InMails to be sent later. This feature is similar to Gmail's Schedule send functionality, and is helpful if you want to remind yourself to nudge someone with a prewritten message in a few days.

A note on terminology: Throughout this article, unless otherwise noted, we will use the term "message" to refer to both LinkedIn messages and InMails.

Scheduling a message for later

To schedule a message, first write the message you want to send, and then click on the Birdie clock icon at the bottom of LinkedIn's chat dialog. You can optionally use templates to write the message. If you are scheduling a regular LinkedIn message (i.e. not an InMail), you can also use a sequence.

Next, choose when to send the message (1) and click OK (2).

Birdie will then schedule your message to be sent on your chosen day.

Sending your scheduled messages

Sending your scheduled messages is the same as executing your due sequence steps. For now, you will need to approve your scheduled messages on their due dates.

When you have a browser tab with LinkedIn open, Birdie will periodically check to see if you have any scheduled messages to send. If you have due messages, you will see a solid paper airplane icon.

Click on paper airplane icon to see a list of your scheduled messages. You can send each message individually (1) or you can click Send All (2) to have Birdie send all your messages 1-by-1.

How to view your scheduled messages

To view your queue of scheduled messages, open Birdie's options and click on Scheduled Tasks . (More info here)
