Have Birdie Send Your Sequence Steps Automatically
Automatically sending sequence steps is only supported for Birdie's LinkedIn sequences, and not for sequences in your CRM/SEP.
If you prefer to not manually review your LinkedIn sequence steps before sending them, and instead would like Birdie to automatically send your messages when they're ready, you can configure Birdie to do so.
Option 1: Turn auto sending on for individual sequence steps
When creating your sequences, you can configure individual steps to be sent automatically. To do so, within a sequence step, check the checkbox labeled Send automatically if person is in CRM
.
Option 2: Turn auto sending on for all sequences
You can also configure all your sequence steps be sent automatically by default. To do so, open Birdie's options, click on Optional Settings
(1), find the setting labeled Bulk actions: Automatically send sequence steps without reviewing?
(2), change it to Yes
and click Save
(3).
How auto sending works
There are a couple of things to note for auto sending to work:
- The first step of any sequence always needs to be manually approved by you i.e. it cannot be sent automatically. This allows you to ensure that Birdie will track the activities to the correct person in your CRM.
- Auto sending only happens between 9am–5pm in your timezone. If it is outside this time window, your due sequence steps will show up in the Task Runner as usual.
- You must have a browser tab with LinkedIn open for Birdie to use to send your sequence steps. You don't need to have this browser tab focused, nor do you need to interact with it. Birdie will automatically send your due sequence steps when it periodically checks your sequences in the background.
- If someone responds and exits your sequence, they will show up in the Task Runner as usual.
