Automating Birdie

By default, Birdie's requires human approval via the Task Runner before sending out connection requests, messages, or InMails in bulk. This includes outreach done via bulk actions, sequence steps, or scheduled tasks.

However, you can configure Birdie such that all these tasks are sent out automatically with no human review.

To do so, open Birdie's options, click on Optional Settings , and then LinkedIn Tasks Automation .

The options available are:

  • Inbox to send messages from
    • By default Birdie will send automated messages from your LinkedIn inbox. However, if you have a Sales Navigator license, you can configure Birdie such that all messages are sent from your Sales Navigator inbox.
    • Note that this setting is for messages, not InMails. Messages can only be sent after someone has accepted your connection request.
  • Auto send sequence steps
    • Set this to Enabled if you want Birdie to send all your sequence steps without human review.
  • Auto send scheduled tasks
    • Set this to Yes, but only when the contact already exists in the CRM/SEP if you want Birdie to only automate sending scheduled tasks where the recipient already exists in your CRM/SEP. If the recipient does not exist, then you will need to use the Task Runner to determine how the new contact and account will be created.
    • Set this to Yes, and create a new CRM/SEP contact when necessary if you want Birdie to automate sending scheduled tasks even when the recipient does not exist in your CRM/SEP yet. In these cases, Birdie will make a best guess on how the contact and account should be created.

Once you've automated Birdie, all you need to do is have a browser tab with LinkedIn open for Birdie to use to send your connection requests, messages, and InMails.
